Research on optimal allocation of water resources in the Western mining area of China based on WEAP

Abstract In order to solve the problem of water resources shortage in Western mining area China and make it reasonably effectively allocated, optimal allocation model was established based on Water Evaluation Planning System this paper. This simulated changes 8 scenarios from 2015 2035. These are consisted different economic growth, population changes, saving greening intensity. The development scenario applicable results corresponding were determined by calculating comprehensive benefits society, economy ecology. show that for is high-speed powerful moderate greening. Under scenario, total demand will reach 39.73 million cubic meters 2035, be 1.7 meters, rate 4.28%. result can used as a reference decision makers, which provide scientific basis rational use area.
